About Us

Supporting healthy families and environments

Our villages in Occupied Palestinian Territories host a vibrant waste refurbishing, dismantling, and recycling industry, processing waste from Israeli and Palestinian territories. Though the sector is a key driver of our economy, it also generates numerous negative impact on our health and environment. These toxic livelihoods have been at the center of numerous of our interventions to:

  • Raise the awareness of inhabitants and waste workers about their exposure
  • Advocate for clean recycling alternatives
  • Enforce local policing against waste burning
  • Support women workers in the dismantling industry
  • Locate burn sites and contaminated places across our villages
  • Remediate polluted sites
  • Document health and environmental impacts
